What is covered by this Lifetime Warranty?

This Lifetime Warranty is provided by Dynamo Windshield Repair (“Dynamo”). Subject to the below conditions, Dynamo warrants that any repair services purchased through Dynamo will be free from defects in materials supplied by Dynamo (for example, the resin used) and in the work performed by technicians provided by Dynamo.

The Lifetime Warranty does not cover incidental or consequential damages, except where such exclusion is prohibited by law.

Who is covered by this Lifetime Warranty?

This Lifetime Warranty extends to the original purchaser of the Repair(s) and is not transferable and does not extend to any person who may purchase the car after the Repair(s) were performed.

How long will coverage under this Lifetime Warranty last?

This Lifetime Warranty lasts for the lifetime of the vehicle’s windshield, for as long as you are the owner of the vehicle, as measured from the original date of purchase.

What will Dynamo do if our Repair is defective during the Warranty Period?

If either the materials provided or the work performed has a defect within the Warranty Period, we will, at our option either (1) retain a technician without charge to you to correct the defect, or (2) refund to you the full amount you paid for the Repair. (Please note that we will refund only what you actually paid for the Repair. Any promotion or discount used to reduce the amount paid for a Repair will not be included in a refund provided under this Lifetime Warranty.)

What is not covered by this Lifetime Warranty?

This Lifetime Warranty will not apply:

To any work for which you have paid the technician directly, rather than making your payment through Dynamo;

To any work not scheduled and processed through Dynamo, including (i) any work performed by a technician originally introduced to you through Dynamo to the extent such work was not scheduled and processed through Dynamo, (ii) any work performed by any technician or other person not associated with Dynamo, and (iii) any work performed by you;

If the repaired vehicle has been damaged by abnormal use, misuse, neglect, accident or alteration;

To any work performed on a vehicle used commercially; and To any issues unrelated to the Repair(s) you purchased (for example, you purchase a new windshield and have another company repair your windshield. The Lifetime Warranty would not apply to the new windshield or Repair(s).)

This Lifetime Warranty is entirely void if any Repair(s) are not performed by Dynamo and repaired by the request of another company.

How do you file a claim under this Lifetime Warranty?

To obtain service under this Lifetime Warranty email us at info@dynamorepair.ca within the Warranty Period. We will send a technician to inspect the problem. The following steps must be followed for the lifetime warranty:

  • A Dynamo Technician needs to inspect the vehicle with a warranty request to verify the issue(s) are covered.
  • Dynamo needs to verify the invoice from the initial visit.
  • Dynamo needs to verify the last date we worked on the initial repair.
  • If the customer had a different technician or shop fix or diagnose the issue, we need to see any and all invoices, pictures, and other materials involved.
  • The vehicle needs to be within our service area to provide a pre-warranty check and to perform warranty work.
  • All other possible warranty scenarios not mentioned above should be reviewed with our customer support.

If the technician determines that there is a defect in materials or workmanship of the Repair(s) and we elect to perform remedial service work (instead of providing a refund), we will create a new appointment to perform such work and repair your windshield at no cost to you.
