No. We don't re-repair windshield chips that have already been filled or repaired by another company.

Once the repair resin has been injected and cured inside the damage, it can prevent new resin from properly flowing into the chip. Because we can't guarantee the quality or durability of a second repair, we only repair untreated rock chips.

If you're unsure whether a chip has been repaired before, we'll take a look at it before starting any work.

Windshield chip repair involves applying pressure to already damaged glass, so there is always a small risk that a chip can spread during the repair process.

We take every precaution to minimize this risk but occasionally a chip may crack or spread despite being repaired correctly. This is more likely with larger, older or more severely damaged rock chips.

If a rock chip spreads during the repair and can no longer be repaired, we won't charge you for the repair.

All appointments with Dynamo Windshield Repair are booked online. Simply choose the repair service you need, enter your location information, select an available date and time and complete your booking.

Once your appointment is booked, you'll receive confirmation with the appointment details.

Prepayment is required to confirm your appointment. This reserves that appointment time specifically for you and allows us to plan our mobile service schedule around your location.

As a mobile business, missed appointments and last-minute cancellations can leave appointment times that are difficult to fill. Prepayment helps reduce no-shows and keeps appointment times available for customers who need them.

If you need to change your appointment, please provide as much notice as possible and refer to the cancellation and rescheduling policy provided when booking.

If it's raining, snowing or too cold to complete the repair properly, the vehicle will need to be moved into a suitable garage, shop, underground parkade or other covered indoor location.

If an indoor location isn't available and the weather prevents the repair from being completed safely and properly, we can reschedule your appointment for another available time.

Windshield chip repair starts at $70 for the first chip and $15 for each additional chip on the same windshield. Large rock chips are $95.

Mobile service is included at no additional charge within Edmonton. Appointments outside Edmonton include a $25 mobile service fee.

Yes. Dynamo Windshield Repair offers a lifetime warranty on all windshield chip repairs for as long as you own the vehicle.

If the repaired chip spreads from the original repair area, contact us and we'll inspect the damage. If the repair has failed and is covered by the warranty, we will refund the cost of the original repair.

The warranty applies to the original repaired damage and does not cover new rock chips, new impact damage or cracks that start elsewhere on the windshield.

Mobile service is free within Edmonton. We come directly to your home, workplace or another suitable location at no additional charge.

For appointments outside Edmonton, a $25 mobile service fee applies to help cover the additional travel time and distance.

Any applicable mobile service fee will be shown when you book your appointment online.

Dynamo Windshield Repair is a 100% mobile windshield repair service, so there is no physical shop or customer drop-off location.

We come directly to your home, workplace or another suitable location to repair your windshield. Mobile service is available throughout Edmonton at no additional charge.

In good weather, repairs can usually be completed outdoors. During rain, snow or colder temperatures, the vehicle will need to be parked in a garage, shop, underground parkade or another suitable indoor location where the windshield is protected from the weather.

Yes but the windshield and working area need to be dry and warm enough for the repair to be completed properly.

If it's raining or snowing, the vehicle will need to be parked in a garage, shop, underground parkade or another covered indoor location. During colder weather, an indoor heated location may also be required.

If the weather isn't suitable and you don't have access to an indoor location, your appointment may need to be rescheduled.

Someone will need to be available when we arrive so we can access the vehicle and confirm the damage before starting the repair.

You don't need to wait outside while the repair is being completed. Most repairs take about 20–30 minutes and we will let you know once the repair is finished.

If the vehicle will be at a workplace, parkade or another location where you won't be nearby, please make sure we have everything needed to access the vehicle when we arrive.
